Chocolate Chip Bars (aka Blonde Brownies)

Ingredients
2/3 cup butter
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 package chocolate chips
2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons water
2 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease and flour a 9 x 13” baking pan.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
Remove from heat and add sugar. Cool slightly.
Stir in water, eggs, vanilla, flour, and baking powder.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into greased/flour baking pan and bake for about 25 minutes.
