Fire and Ice Tomatoes

Serves 6
Ingredients
3/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp celery seed
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1 green pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
6 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
Instructions
Combine the first 8 ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over pepper, onion, and tomatoes, and chill for 24 hours.

This is good to take on a picnic, layered in a jar.
