Banana Cake

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 cups (less 1 Tablespoon) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup mashed bananas, about 2 large or 3 small
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Chocolate Frosting
2/3 pound powdered sugar
1 square unsweetened chocolate
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
Strong black coffee
Instructions
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 13x9x2-inch pan. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in eggs. Stir in vanilla and sour cream alternately with combined dry ingredients. Stir in bananas and nuts. Pour into pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
Combine all Chocolate Frosting ingredients, adding just enough coffee to make spreading consistency. Spread on cake. 12 to 15 servings.
