Popcorn Lover’s Day is March 8th!

Popcorn. Plain popcorn is such an easy, quick, and tasty snack. Usually, I opt for a shake (or 100) of Kernel Season’s White Cheddar Popcorn Seasoning to spice up my microwave popcorn. But, when I have a bit more time, I like to make a super special popcorn treat. These recipes are crowd-pleasers and super convenient for a speedy, on-the-go bite! Here are some of my favorites!
Chili-Lime Popcorn
Ingredients
1 cup popcorn kernels
2 Tbsp oil
4 tsp chili powder
1/2 cup lime juice (more if desired!)
2 Tbsp butter
Salt to taste
Instructions
- Pour oil into large saucepan and pop popcorn over medium heat. Stirring occasionally, cook until all kernels are popped.
- Melt butter in the microwave on low.
- In a large bowl, add melted butter, popped popcorn, chili powder, lime juice, and salt. Mix thoroughly until popcorn is evenly coated.
- Let it cool and enjoy!
Cookies & Cream Popcorn
Ingredients
2 Tbsp oil
1 cup popcorn
1 package white chocolate
1 package Oreos
Salt to taste
Instructions
- Melt white chocolate in a saucepan over low heat.
- In a separate saucepan (you will need a large one) add oil and kernels. Stir occasionally until all kernels are popped.
- Crush Oreos in a bowl (you can add however many you want – I tend to go overboard)
- In a large mixing bowl, add popcorn, melted white chocolate, and crushed Oreos.
- Add salt to taste!
- Spread on parchment paper to cool. Once the white chocolate has hardened, serve and enjoy!
