Easy Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, sugars, cream, and salt and bring to boil. 
  2. Simmer until sugars are dissolved.
  3. Whisk in vanilla.

Cook's Note

  1. Keeps in fridge for a couple weeks.
  2. Delicious warmed and served over ice cream or many flavors of cake.
