Ingredients
2 - 2-1/2 pounds chicken wings, trimmed and separated at joint
1 cup soy sauce
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup honey
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place wings in a shallow dish or sealable plastic bag adding soy sauce, ginger, cilantro, garlic and lemon juice. Toss well to coat and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Remove wings from marinade and pat dry, season with salt and pepper.
- Over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil in large saute pan. Add honey and wings and fry until brown on each side, about 5 minutes. Continue cooking the wings, turning often while glaze reduces, watch carefully until the wings are sticky and cooked through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
