Bacon Crisps

Ingredients

8 slices bacon
1 egg
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp Tabasco
1 tsp vinegar
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cut each bacon slice into 3 pieces. Beat egg well. Add mustard, Tabasco and vinegar and combine thoroughly. Dip each bacon piece in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs.
  2. Bake on broiler pan at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Eat alone as a snack or with sourdough bread.
