September's Beestill Calendar provides the extraordinary strength we hope we never need.

If The Spirited Table® could visibly jump up and down for joy, it would be now!

Over the last few days we have added 3 amazing new Tastemakers in Residence to our table.  Each one brings a new twist to an old favorite. Laura Chin's back story access to the W3 Book Club, just might change the way the words in your next book club rendering pop off the page. Katie Chin's Thai cooking reminds us that there is more than one unique ingredient in a great experience around the table. And yes, Katie and Laura are sisters, how lucky are we! Derek Holser has a flair for words, family, fashion and oops, I am not going to give away all his secrets quite yet. This attorney, educator and author will provide a launch point for traditions that are built, not necessarily bought.

Each Tastemaker would love to hear from you, so give them an email blasting welcome.

It's A Man's Table Too! launches the week with Derek's, Dressed for Dinner story. It is sure to rouse a few of you from your cut-offs.

Grandparents Day is next Sunday, but spend some time this Labor Day with family and friends enjoying the family tree building process. It just might provide to be a bridge to an historical and cultural celebration table that strengthens the family fun quotient.

Let your fall or Labor Day table provide the "kick" of taste that makes your guests wonder how you did it. Welcome Katie Chin as a new Tastemaker in Residence and try her fabulous Everyday Thai Cookbook. Featured Recipes this week include Thai Peanut NoodlesThai Chicken Lettuce Cups with Ginger Lime Dipping Sauce and Thai Steak Salad

Blessings pop into our lives with a crash, pow, whoa that was super cool moment. They also creep in unnoticed if we aren't paying attention. My blessing shout out includes a thank you for a berry picking trip to one of the Apostle Islands, in the middle of Lake Superior. I will have fresh blueberries even when the snow flies. This Tastemaker sums up the moments we shouldn't let slip in and out without a thank you!

Just like the Spirited Tables we highlight everyday, book clubs come in all sizes, focus, literary compass and party environments. I hope you read the back story of the W3 Book Club last week. Today it is my pleasure to introduce our first literary soiree from the W3 Book Club; W3 = Wine, Women, Words. First up, their version of Barefoot on Crane Island by Marjorie Myers Douglas, reenacted on Lake Minnetonka.

Stillwater, MN sparkles all year long, but summer provides every kind of spirited table adventure imaginable. One saloon has a Husband Day Care Center. (I can't make this stuff up.)

Happy 8th Anniversary Andrea & Haynes...few words are necessary for the love in these photos.

Till our next hullabaloo, happy tables to you!
