Tulips are one of the most sought-after flowers, ranking third across the United States. (California Cut Flower Commission). They are loved for their fantastic color variations and design personality. A big part of their personality is that tulips continue to grow after they are cut! Knowing this, a floral designer will often insert a tulip to be shorter upon the initial design of a bouquet leaving room for the growth that will take place in the next 24 hours.
