Frame your Flower Designs
by Reba Berge, Tastemaker in Residence
Weekly Tip:
Framing is the use of branches, grasses or flowers to enhance or contain other materials. Framing isolates and calls attention to the focal area of a composition. It can also be used to enclose an entire design and pull the visual impact into the design.
In this bouquet, the lily grass frames the anthurium, which is then more significantly seen as the focal flower of the arrangement.
