Mother's Day Moments in Time

I could say that I’m over the fact my Mother died at 52; but the truth is, you can’t ever really forget the fun you might have had, the fact she only saw my now husband, one time. I never knew the entirety of my Mom’s life as she might have shared it with me, spoken from her lips, sitting next to her and her infamous “sweetened iced tea” with lemon, or as an adult, or a daughter, happy to have a Mom to call during those really rough moments in life.

My Mother was a quiet person. So the fact she raised three very un-quiet daughters, and the fact my Dad is anything but quiet, had to be a bit overwhelming for her, but I think we entertained her. So let’s kick-off the first of the Mother’s Day hit parade with these Mom moments in time. First things first things first. Give her a hug!
