Saving Christmas Cactus=Floral Tip+Fresh Fruit Tip

Plant Tip:
Did you receive a Christmas Cactus for Christmas and now wondering how to keep it alive and healthy?
Christmas Cactus prefer a humid climate because they are native to rainforests! Their soil needs to drain well, and you will want to fertilize it from spring to fall. The best practice for any pruning of your Christmas Cactus is in June.
Floral Tip:
When you incorporate fresh fruit in your designs, use clove oil at the puncture hole to prevent any rot where you skewer it. Clove oil is a natural preservative!
