Chocolate con Leche

Serves 4

Ingredients
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup sugar

3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

4 cups milk, divided

1/4 cup light cream

3/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

Heavy cream

Chocolate shavings

Instructions

In small bowl, mix cocoa, sugar, and cinnamon. In medium saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk until bubbly. Stir in cocoa mixture and whisk until smooth. Reduce heat to low and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in remaining 3 cups of milk and return to a boil. Blend in cream and vanilla. Remove hot chocolate from heat and whisk until frothy. Pour into cups and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
