Batch Cocktails for the Holidays-Jeptha Winter Spritz

If you have a large crowd in attendance, this batch of Jeptha Winter Spritz that includes Vodka, simple syrup, grapefruit juice, and Sparkling Rosé Brut is perfect.

Jeptha Winter Spritz 

Ingredients

Cranberry/Rosemary Simple Syrup

4 cups water 

4 cups of sugar 

Fresh cranberries 

Fresh rosemary

Jeptha Winter Spritz

2 cups Jeptha Creed Original Vodka (or Vodka on hand)

2 cups cranberry/rosemary simple syrup 

2 cups fresh grapefruit juice (unsweetened)

Sparkling Rosé Brut

Instructions

Cranberry/Rosemary Simple Syrup

  1. Combine equal parts sugar and water over low heat and stir until all the sugar dissolves.

  2. Add fresh cranberries and rosemary to taste to your simple syrup, we recommend 5-6 sprigs of rosemary and 2+ cups of cranberries.

  3. Bring the heat to medium and let it simmer (but not boil!) until cranberries are soft.

  4. Tastes your syrup and adjust for flavor: it should be fragrant and bright red. When the syrup is done, strain the fruit and herbs.

Jeptha Winter Spritz 

  1. Combine 2 cups of cranberry simple syrup, 2 cups grapefruit juice, and 2 cups of Jeptha Creed Original Vodka in a pitcher.

  2. To serve: fill half of a champagne flute with the vodka mixture and top with Rosé. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
