Pop & Choc
by Cindi Sutter, Founder of The Spirited Table® Recipe by Leland Sutter
There are various pre-packaged versions of popcorn covered in chocolate, caramel etc. But Leland didn't know that when he came up with the idea of doing it yourself.
Thus Pop & Choc was born.

Ingredients
Favorite popcorn
3-4 Tbsp vegetable oil
Hershey bars adjust quantities as needed
Materials
Double-boiler or 2 sauce pans
Parchment paper
Whirley-Pop (or your favorite popcorn maker)
Instructions
- Melt vegetable oil in the Whirley-pop then add popcorn (quantity up to you). Follow Whirley-pop instructions.
- Prepare 1 or 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper, then pour the popcorn on the parchment.
- Using a double-boiler or 1 pan with water in it and a second smaller pan with the Hershey bars in it, heat until the chocolate melts enough to pour easily. If for any reason (temperature or elevations) use a bit of milk to thin. Easiest to pour with a spoon or a small spouted measuring cup. Let the chocolate harden. Enjoy.
