My Women's PGA Championship Experience-Kids!

Hazeltine National Golf Club, KPMG and the PGA of America should take a bow…for executing a golf tournament that generated great crowds, positive energy, and lots of amazing shots. All in attendance took advantage of some new areas on the golf course, like the Fan and Kid Zones. There were new food & drink options, including food trucks and craft beer stops along the way.

Stay tuned for my next Women’s PGA Championship post with pictures of the players!

Thank-you Minnesota for supporting another major championship and stay tuned for the Ryder Cup 2028!

Here are a few of my favorite things…Our winner!

Green's coach: Women's PGA champ spurred by fellow Aussie Lee + Tournament Overview.

Hannah Green with a score of 9 under par captured her first win on the LPGA tour, the bonus"? IT’s a MAJOR!

Saturday of the Championship was Youth Day: so here are a few of my most favorite parts of the tournament. I mean really, who doesn’t love brownies singing the brownie song, or going on a scavenger hunt all over the golf course and just being fun loving kids!!!

We soaked up more than a splash of rain and a great Championship. We celebrated the Girls Scouts during Youth day with the following images! This is really what life should be about.

Hazeltine Volunteers led the girl scouts around the golf course on a scavenger hunt that earned them a badge and lots of fun.

Youth Day enabled young girls and boys to embrace the joy of being on a golf course, swinging a club or trying to make a putt. Makes you want to be a kid again!!
