Amber Waves of Grain on 4th of July

Fourth of July seems like an artfully imagined holiday headed our way like a runaway freight train. What, you say? I’m sitting in my office with a space heater next to me, enough said? I'm still waiting for what is usually a fabulous Minnesota summer, to transform the moods of everyone I know from happy, but a bit testy, to a Spiritedly patriotic and celebratory motif that revolves around food, drink, country, fireworks and travel!

On that note, here are a few tips from the amber waves of grain part of the country.
