Combining fresh flowers with green plants is a great way to add a pop of color to a living gift that will last for years to come.

Here we have created a dish garden with 5 different green plants and have added 5 ‘Free Spirit’ orange roses, a bow and a few birch branches with a stem of artificial berries for added texture.

Ingredients

1 10” ceramic dish

5 4” green plants

2 cups sheet moss

Potting soil

5 ‘Free Spirit’ Roses

5 Water Tubes

1 Yard Orange Satin Ribbon

3 Birch Branche Tips

1 stem artificial Berries

Instructions

  1. Plant the green plants in the ceramic dish using any additional potting soil to keep them stable and secure.

  2. Fill the water tubes with water and insert the roses. Insert the Roses with their water tubes into the soil starting with the tallest in the middle back.

  3. Cover the soil with wet sheet moss.

  4. Make a Bow with the orange satin ribbon and insert at the middle front of the dish.

  5. Insert 3 birch branches and the artificial berries throughout the green plants to fill out the display.
