The author of "Atonement" writes a riveting book on the English family court system, while also including themes regarding freedom of religion, medical ethics, and family beliefs.

Adding to the festivities, our host served a fine dinner including: Governors Green Salad, Shepherds Pie, and Creme Brûlée amidst her lovely fall decor.

And, it should be noted that, if your book club members don't own judge's attire or gavels, choir gowns and graduation robes, along with rubber mallets will do!
