(St. Paul, MN) Aug. 22, 2016 - Goldstein Museum of Design (GMD), part of the University of Minnesota’s College of Design, has added Neal Kielar to its advisory board.
Kielar is owner and creative director at MidModMen+friends, a St. Paul retailer of vintage modern home furnishings.
“The new advisory board members embody the spirit of the design community and bring talent, expertise and energy to the group,” said Lin Nelson‐Mayson, GMD director. “We’re fortunate to add their perspectives as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of serving as Minnesota’s design museum for the College of Design and the design community.”
Prior to launching MidModMen+friends in 2012, Kielar spent more than 30 years in brand and content marketing. His clients included Disney/ABC, Time Warner, the Oprah Winfrey Network, United HealthCare, FedEx, Whirlpool, Behr Process Corporation and multiple financial services and technology companies.
