Showcase Purses for Summer Centerpiece

For the opera or orchestra after party, any shower or women's get together. The black and white hook is to hang purses on for designing purposes only. 

Ingredients

Purse/s of your choice
Floral foam, soaked in water & floral food, in small container, whether square or circular
Floral food
Lukewarm water
Clean non-serrated knife

The black purse has this little foam holder in it that is 2x2X2. It was wet, placed inside the open purse; laying down. Flowers are placed so to keep the top opening dry. The foliage a and flowers are designed with the purse laying down. 

These are the mechanics for the small hanging purse. It is called a Brovo.  
The foam is wet and the outside of the Brovo decorated with ribbons using glue.
A drinking straw is pushed through the Brovo, then cut to the ends of the foam for the hanging ribbon to go through; it holds it sot it does not become wet.

Design with any small flowers and foliage.

Instructions

1. Give your flowers a fresh cut and place in water to hydrate them
2. Cut foam to fit snugly into the container that will hold the water and florals
3. You can either place the flowers into the foam, before putting the foam/container into purse or after putting it into the purse, depending on the purse size. Smaller purses may be easier if they have the foam already in the purse, and larger may be easier while the foam is outside of the purse.  
4. See what works for you- The foliage and flowers can be designed with the purse laying down. (photo below)
5. Take flowers that are in floral foam out of purse to refresh, as needed.
