Effort and Rest. A union of the two.

One is never prepared for illness, especially the week before Thanksgiving. We can all rationalize one day of “taking it easy”, but I’m on day 3.
I need an attitude adjustment period because resting isn't my auto default button.
Thinkmap Visual Thesaurus is my favorite wordsmithing tool. So here are rest and effort.
Rest = recline, inactivity, respite, catch one’s breath, relax
Effort = exertion, drive, cause, attempt, do, endeavor, try.
So I could go with a drive to recline...an attempt to catch one’s breath…try to relax…an exertion of inactivity?
You get the idea.
It doesn’t really matter if illness is in my plan or not. It’s going to take effort for me to rest. And so I will!
