Summer Table Setting

I love color, mixing older linens with pottery, hand-painted items like wine glasses or a kid's hand-painted placemat. Top it off with a lobster napkin ring and you've got the perfect summer table. 

Don't be afraid to marry the old and the new! Deborah Rhodes, New York, placemats come in a variety of colors and are literally wipe and/or wash and hang to dry. The pottery is my personal favorite, again because I can mix and match the colors; designed by Julie Sanders for the Cyclamen Collection. Flatware is from Tiffany and Company.
