Spirited Spotlight on Table 301 Restaurant Group
by Cindi Sutter, Founder of The Spirited Table®
Carl Sobocinski moved to South Carolina from Durham, New Hampshire to pursue an architectural degree at Clemson University. After graduating with a BA in design, he decided that his true calling was in the hospitality industry- that is when he decided to open Soby’s New South Cuisine at the ripe age of 26. Carl’s goal in opening this restaurant was to see to each guest’s needs and exceed all expectations they had when walking through the door. That attitude, his business savvy sense and his passion for people have brought him a long way. He is now the owner of Table 301 Restaurant Group, which consists of 7 restaurants (including Soby’s), a food truck, and a successful catering business.
