Mom and Kid's Unite Around Florals

by Cindi Sutter, Founder of The Spirited Table®

Once again, Ardith Beveridge, Tastemaker in Residence, turns our idea of a Mother's Day arrangement upside down. This creation uses succulents of most any kind, except the kind that bite back, to bring Mom and kids together for a project; or the older kids can surprise Mom.

This floral recipe includes a clear glass bowl or a fish bowl, without the fish, spring colored vases-ribbons-succulents. The second image provides a tip on using wooden skewers or any other type of "floral pick" to anchor the succulents.

As always, mix it up and Happy Mother's Day!

Calling spring, moms, kids and flowers to unite for an outdoor project. Ardith Beveridge, Tastemaker in Residence launches a spring floral recipe. All you need are some bulbs or  plants, greens of your choice, sticks and scissors. Use any container you like.

Try using some different color sticks and multi-color bulbs. It's been a long winter, so ramp up the color wheel.
