Sue Zelickson, "Sue Z.", is a lively food columnist and radio personality in Minneapolis whose theory about cookies is that no cookie can be either too rich or too thin, which is the best description of what to anticipate in her divine cookies.
The proceeds from the sales of Sue Z.’s cookie mix go to Perspective, Inc. Kids Café.

Perspectives, Inc. began as a small group of dedicated women committed to increasing community awareness around the issues of chemical dependency and its systemic consequences.
Now, Perspectives has grown into an award-winning, multi-program human service agency located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Perspectives offers innovative wrap-around programs designed to move women and their children out of cycles of despair into hope.
The Kids Café component of the program is designed to teach and develop life skills. The students are responsible for planning menus, preparing evening meals and utilizing a commercial kitchen in a healthy and safe manner.
Through these cooperative activities, students learn critical life skills such as healthy eating, food safety, nutrition and culinary skills, and develop confidence and leadership skills.
