Polka Dot Plant

by Reba Berge, Tastemaker in Residence

The polka dot plant is one of those old favorites which has recently been rediscovered. And for good reason! The most eye-catching thing about this plant is not the flowers, but the pink polka dots all over the leaves.

They are easy to look after, but they need a lot of water. It grows well at normal room temperature, and does not need a definite rest period in a cooler place as some plants do. Remember that this plant likes a humid atmosphere.
