Have you been working hard with healthy eating and exercise habits in 2016? Don’t let Super Bowl Sunday, the second biggest eating holiday in America, derail your efforts. The average person consumes 2,400 calories during the game and most of it fried, greasy, and creamy. Potato chip game day consumption alone clocks in at 11.2 million pounds of munching madness. That really is a Super “chip” Bowl!
Watch Christina Meyer-Jax (registered dietitian, nutrition professor and tastemaker) on KMSP FOX 9 morning show Saturday Feb. 5 with some great food and beverage ideas that will fuel the fun and keep you game day ready! Remember spring break is right around the corner.
